Structured Mentoring and Knowledge Transfer

NB: Some of the specialised workshops require prior attendance of the 2 or 3 day “Introduction to Knowledge Management” workshop or the “Integr8ed Knowledge Management Framework™” workshop

However, the NQF standards have not kept pace with the rapid evolution of Knowledge Management practices and the generally accepted best practices, as well as lessons learned from around the world. For this reason, there are no Unit Standards available, against which to align our highly specialised and proven KM Workshop series, which consist of either 1, 2 or 3 day Knowledge Transfer Workshops and our highly inter-active and customised Structured Learning Events.

All the KMI Knowledge Transfer Workshops and Structured Learning Events are also highly customisable, in order to suit a client’s specific knowledge needs and KM training requirements. A standard or tailored workshop agenda can be sent to you upon request and clarification of your needs.

Knowledge Transfer Workshop and Structured Learning Events are available in the following formats:

Half Day – AWARENESS sessions

An introduction into the subject matter to provide an overall awareness and to test levels of organisational interest and commitment.

1 Day - FOCUS sessions

A general overview of the subject matter and aimed at middle to senior management who need a basic understanding without committing to a lengthy workshop process.

2 Day - MASTERCLASS workshops

A detailed overview and practical application aimed at middle & line management who have a need to develop both implementation and communication skills for effective knowledge management.

3 Day - BOOTCAMP workshops

A comprehensive skills transfer process with simulation exercises and aimed at management and teams who will be actively involved in practical implementation, rollout & maintenance of knowledge management.
